Bipolar Scotland AGM & Annual Conference - Saturday 17th September

Our colleagues at Bipolar Scotland will be holding their AGM and Annual Conference on Saturday 17 September 2011, Menzies Hotel, 27 Washington Street, Glasgow, G3 8AZ. The AGM (members only), will be held between 10am – 10.45am. The conference will be held between 10.50am – 3.30pm.

The main speakers at the conference will be Phil Barker and Poppy Buchannan-Barker, who will talk about the Tidal Model of nursing. Dr Donny Lyons, Chief Executive, Mental Welfare Commission, who will talk on the role of the commission. Afternoon workshops will cover the co-morbidity of bipolar disorder and alcohol abuse, update on welfare rights legislation and Jammin Fitness.
