Originating in 2015, 1 in 100 is our annual fundraising campaign. Each year more and more people take part in raising money, awareness and just as importantly - having fun! In previous years, people have skydived, broken world records for portrait painting and ran marathons, but you don't have to go to the extreme or leave your comfort zone to get involved. How about abstaining from social media for 100 days or making an effort to eat healthily for 100 days? There's no limit or constraints on what you can do, so use your imagination and get involved!

In addition to individual challenges, we also have a few bigger events planned that everyone is welcome to attend. To coincide with World Mental Health Day 2017 we'll be holding a Dignity Walk on Saturday October 7th and a comedy gig at The Stand in Glasgow on Wednesday October 11th. Get in touch for more details.

We need your support because:

  • 1 in 100 people will experience psychosis at some point in their lives.
  • 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem
  • On average people with a serious mental illness die 20 years earlier than the general population

How to take part:

  • Contact the fundraising team at [email protected]
We will do everything we can to support, encourage and advise you.
  • Decide on your ‘1 IN 100’ it might be doing something for 100 days like giving up chocolate, running a mile a day, convincing 100 people to donate £1 or putting on a theme night and getting 100 people to pay to come along!
  • Share your success. We want to hear all about it so we can tell the world how great you and your supporters are!
  • Not sure how to get started? Fill in our enquiry form and we'll help as much as possible.

Your donation will help us continue to:

  • Provide recovery focused services for people with mental health issues across 20 projects in Scotland
  • Support people who are often marginalised to live the positive lives they want
  • Provide specialist support to mental health carers
  • Campaign for change

What will your money do?

  • A £5 donation allows us to provide 15 minutes of telephone signposting and information to people affected by a mental health issue
  • A £10 donation: Allows us to buy ingredients for a healthy eating skills group
  • A £25 donation: allows us to hold a mental health carers support group
  • A £50 donation: allows us to support a vulnerable volunteer to take the first steps back to work
