Support in Mind Scotland is delighted to announce that networking club Love Your Business have chosen us as their charity partner for 2020.

Love Your Business is an informal and relaxed networking club which runs on the last Thursday of each month at Black Ivy in Edinburgh, featuring inspirational guest speakers (including Support in Mind Scotland ambassador Scott Hastings) and great networking and collaborations opportunities - with a focus on not only building your network and getting great business tips but taking time out of your business to meet like-minded people.

The event is hosted by Michelle Brown, marketing, PR and communications expert with over 20 years experience creating impactful multi-channel campaigns for major UK clients including M&S, Costa Coffee, Premier Inn, Geox and Specsavers.

Michelle also has first-hand experience running her own successful business, Michelle Brown PR, www.michellebrownpr.com, founded in 2014 and is also a Media & Communications part-time university lecturer and business development consultant.

LYB, who previously supported breast cancer charity Make 2nds Count, are looking forward to helping to promote the work of Support in Mind Scotland with some skills sharing, helping to raise mental health awareness and making a donation to the charity from every ticket sale. "This is one of the most vibrant networking groups in the country, always bursting with creativity, shared knowledge, support and inspiring speakers."

"It is particularly pleasing to see that Michelle Brown and the team have recognised how important mental health is to us all, in life and in business, and we look forward to working closely with LYB and its network of contacts throughout the year.”

Michelle Brown, founder of Love Your Business said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Support in Mind Scotland this year as our Charity of the Year and really looking forward to working with them to help raise awareness of the fantastic work they are doing with people affected by mental illness and donating £2 from every ticket sale throughout the year.

“We were honoured to have one of their ambassadors, Scottish rugby legend Scott Hastings, as a guest speaker last year who talked about having a positive mindset in business and also his 100 Streets Challenge with his wife Jenny which they started in 2017, to raise awareness of mental health and the benefits of physical exercise, which we are looking forward to taking part in this year.”
