Latest news New summer slot for our 1 in 100 Campaign OUR 1 in 100 fundraising and awareness campaign will hot up in 2016 when it moves to a new exciting 100-day summer slot on the calendar. Support in Mind Scotland's new-look campaign will launch on 3 July and run for 100 days until it concludes on World Mental Health Day - on Monday, 10 October. Plans will be firmed up and announced nearer launch date, but major events in the pipeline at this stage include a summer ceilidh, grand raffle, art exhibition, nationwide running and walking challenge, poetry evening, comedy night and a group walk through Holyrood Park to coincide with World Mental Health Day. In the coming weeks, we will also be inviting entries from across our services for a new logo for the 2016 renewal of 1 in 100. The winning design (which will be rewarded with a prize) will appear on all promotional materials and will be the emblem for our flagship fundraising push this year. When 1 in 100 launches we will also, of course, be appealing to the people who use our services, staff, supporters, members, carers, friends and volunteers to use their imagination and come up with challenges and events of their own to promote awarness of mental health and help us raise money to continue delivering crucial services across Scotland. Our Fundraising team will be only too happy to offer any support and advice you require. You can contact Colin or Iain at National Office on 0131 662 4359 or email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org Here is a recap of what you did for us in 2015: Colin Leslie, Support in Mind Scotland's Fundraising and Communications Manager, said: "Fundraisers, donors and supporters combined brilliantly to raise awareness and funds for our organisation in 2015-16. It was a real team effort and we hope everyone will again show the same tremendous energy and enthusiasm. "We have decided to shift 1 in 100 to the summer months because we feel this time of year will give people more scope to run and attend events. Who knows - it may even coincide with some nice weather! "We encourage everyone to play their part again and make it a summer to remember for Support in Mind Scotland."
