SENIOR students of St Mary's Music School in Edinburgh will hold their annual Leavers' Concert at 7.30pm on Thursday 2 June at Palmerston Place Church, and have kindly chosen to donate any proceeds from the event to Support in Mind Scotland.

The event has been coordinated by St Mary's Head Girl Melissa McDonald, who will speak at the beginning of the concert about the work Support in Mind Scotland do, and is a yearly tradition that is usually a more carefree demonstration of the student's talents. Melissa describes the event as "a final showcase of fun and enjoyable music to raise money for Support in Mind Scotland".

St Mary's has a fantastic record of developing top musical talent. As recently as last month, 6th Year pupil Brìghde Chaimbeul won the hotly-contested BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award at The Royal Albert Hall in London.

The event at Palmerston Place Church, 10 Palmerston Place, is free to attend, but is ticketed due to the venue having limited space. You can secure tickets by calling St Mary's Music School Office on 0131 538 7766. Donations will be gratefully accepted on the night.
