Having conversations about how you’re feeling is important. It can help to get us through a tough time or connect with the people around us, but we know it can be difficult to speak to the people we love. If you need support with how you’re feeling, there is help and information available to you.

Hi! We're Support in Mind Scotland

Support in Mind Scotland aims to improve the quality of life of anyone whose mental health problem or mental illness has a serious impact on their life or the lives of others including families, carers and supporters. We deliver services to around 2,000 people a year through 21 projects across Scotland.

Scottish Book Trust and Support in Mind Scotland, one of Mental Health UK’s four founding charities, have been working together to provide writing workshops for people affected by mental health problems.

We have services across Scotland, ranging from group activities, 1:1 support, counselling sessions, life skill groups, employability support and outreach support. Click on the map on the right to search for support in your area, or click here.
