Me and My wife Marta will be doing a challenge of cycling 100k a day in June. We are very fortunate to have our own business and being able to take some time off every day to cycle the distance. We will be trying to do it in the mornings, hopefully leaving before 6am, so we will still have time, to catch up with work. So the challenge will not only be to do the cycling but also keep the business and family home running. We’ve got 3 boys Kacper, Jakub and Szymon (16,14,12 years old), who kindly and happily agreed for us to be away for few hours, as long as we won’t be grumpy for the rest of the day, take them to their training (twice a day for 2 of them) and put the dinner on the table!
We will be trying to post our progress on my Facebook page and will try to do a different route every day and take some photos along the way, so if someone decides to follow our progress, may find it slightly more interesting.
We feel very privileged to be in a position to find time to do so, but to make it more meaningful we would like to raise awareness about Mental Health Issues. We believe that there are a lot of vulnerable people who are the silent victims of the current situation. Every day you can see people who are clearly struggling more than others to cope with the current crisis.
