Hosted by the Mental Health Foundation, Mental Health Awareness Week 2020 will take place from Monday 18 to Sunday 24 May 2020. The Week will focus on the connections between our sleep - or lack of it - and mental health.

Support in Mind Scotland will be hosting and supporting a number of events during Mental Health Awareness Week, so please check back here for details.

The Mental Health Foundation has set the theme, organised and hosted the week for the last 20 years, during which the event has grown to engage millions of people across the UK and globally.

The week is traditionally also an opportunity for people to talk about all aspects of mental health, with a focus on taking action and providing advice.

Since the first Mental Health Awareness Week in 2001, mental health organisations across the UK have raised awareness of topics like stress, relationships, loneliness, altruism, body image, alcohol and friendship. This year, with your support, we want to reach more people than ever!
