EQUALLY FIT is a See Me funded project jointly managed by Bipolar Scotland and Support in Mind Scotland.  Equally Fit aims to achieve equal access to timely, appropriate physical health care for people with serious mental illness in Scotland by challenging the health inequalities that exist between mental and physical health care.

We are seeking Change Champions who can help us to achieve our aims, by bringing their own experience to the project to help us to raise awareness of the issues nationally and locally, and to help us roll out a Charter of Rights and Action Plan that will bring about change in local areas.

Change Champions should have experience of mental illness either as a person with lived experience, a carer or as a professional providing support and should be willing to undertake training to help us deliver our project.

These positions are voluntary but expenses will be paid and we are seeking to create up to 15 Change Champion opportunities between now and the end of March 2017.

If you would like to apply to become an Equally Fit Change Champion, please contact Lesley Fyfe, Equally Fit Administrator, at Bipolar Scotland on 0141 560 2050; email [email protected]; or download a pack from our websites:  www.bipolarscotland.org.uk or www.supportinmindscotland.org.uk
