Psychosis, Rights and Recovery SCOTTISH SCHIZOPHRENIA SURVEY Psychosis, Rights and Recovery – Tackling the Health Inequalities faced by people living with Schizophrenia and Psychosis Half Day Seminar June 25th 2015 Edinburgh Amanda Larkin, University of Edinburgh, will present the results of the Scottish Schizophrenia Survey highlighting stigma, a lack of joined up healthcare and poor involvement and support for carers as the main issues. Guest speakers: Professor Sir Robin Murray, Professor of Psychiatric Research, Kings College London Professor Andrew Gumley, Professor of Psychological Therapy, University of Glasgow Professor Stephen Lawrie, Network Director, Scottish Mental Health Research Network Lesley Smith, Network Officer, Scottish Recovery Network Amanda and our guest speakers will lead a discussion with policy makers, clinicians, academics and mental health organisations on the findings with a view to creating momentum for change.
