THE Stafford Centre will tomorrow (Wednesday 21st October) host an open day between 12noon and 3:30pm demonstrating how their service and resources can help those who are suffering with mental illness. Anyone can attend, so if you need advice about something like claims or financial aid, or if you're suffering from isolation and would like to meet people with similiar issues and perhaps even join a regular club (for example walking or painting) then tomorrow's event is the perfect opportunity to meet everyone and get started. The atmosphere is incredibly friendly and there's a real community spirit at the centre.

In addition to being the chance for people to gain an insight into how the centre works, there will also be special showings of a short film about some of the centre's members and their volunteering trip to Belarus, as well as the opportunity to view some of the member's art. Fun is definitely the order of the day but The Stafford Centre does a lot of vital work helping people who need support.

If you think they could help you, get yourself along.
