Location: Golspie

Salary: £10,633 per annum. (£19,085 full time equivalent)

Hours: 19.5 hours a week. Part time (Mon, Wed and Fri 9.30 – 4.30)

Contract: Permanent

Reporting to: Locality Manager

We are looking for a Project Worker to join our Gatehouse Resource Centre Team in Golspie. Our centre provides a warm, welcoming environment where people can find the confidence and trust that they need in order to engage with support. Working alongside our Highland Area team, the role offers you an opportunity to make a positive difference to the lives of people affected by mental health issues.

As a Project Worker, you will be part of a small team, engaging directly in support work with people who use the centre in order to deliver the best possible outcomes. You will work directly with service users to develop and review Personal Support Plans offering compassionate, creative and focussed support to assist recovery.

You will also have scope to help develop the Centre, through collaboration with the people who use the service, the Centre staff, your colleagues across the Highland Team and external stakeholders, including voluntary sector agencies, NHS Highland and other statutory bodies.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in the Mental Health field or in another area of support work, and an SVQ2 or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care.
