The National Rural Mental Health Forum, which was set up and is run by Support in Mind Scotland, has grown to more than 180 membership organisations from the public, private and third sectors across Scotland.

Activity includes researching, in collaboration with various research institutes, the rural dynamic of experiencing poor mental health, informing Government policy to ensure that the rural and mental health dimensions are taken into account of.

The Forum also promotes mental health training in organisations and raises awareness of mental health through members’ events and publications.

The Forum runs a variety of seminars, open to all: www.ruralwellbeing.org/upcoming-events

It also has devolved Benefits Advice: www.ruralwellbeing.org/benefits-bitesize-learning/
