Senior Project Worker

Based at the Gatehouse Resource Centre, Golspie

Salary: £20520 per annum pro rata

15 hours per week

Support in Mind Scotland provides support for people whose lives are seriously affected by mental health problems or illness. This can include people directly affected by mental illness, family members, friends and supporters.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and creative Senior Project Worker, to be lead our Gatehouse Resource Centre service in Golspie. The Senior Project Worker will provide recovery-focussed and person-centred support to people attending the Centre, through individual and group-based work. Additionally, the Senior Project Worker will lead the Gatehouse Resource Centre service, will be responsible for organisation and facilitation of day to day activities and will provide supervision for staff.

The successful candidate will have an SVQ3 qualification in Social Services and Health Care (or an equivalent qualification) and substantial experience of providing support to people whose Mental Health issues seriously affect their lives. The post holder will be required to join the PVG Scheme.
