Mental Health Training in the Workplace

Please note: our range of mental health training courses will commence in the springtime of 2021

Our belief is that mental health training is a key element in establishing a flourishing workplace

Training your staff in mental health can help to break down stigma and discrimination, build awareness, develop skills and enhance confidence.

Our range of mental health training packages aim to develop participants' knowledge so that they can provide support to colleagues and offer pathways to getting the help they may need.

Why train with Support in Mind Scotland?

Our courses are informed by nearly 50 years of experience in supporting people with mental health and mental illness across Scotland. All our work is evidence based on lived experiences of the people who use our services and our staff team.

Our courses:

Our half day introductory level Insight into Mental Health course aims to build a basic understanding of mental health. Click the banner below to learn more.

Our one-day Mental Health Champions course will equip staff to become nominated role models and promote a workplace where everyone’s health can flourish. Click the banner below to learn more.

Our third course is the Scotland Mental Health First Aiders (SMHFA), two-day accredited qualification. It is designed and supported by the Scottish Government and manged by Public Health Scotland. Click the banner below to learn more.
