'Sadaya' (Hindi for Humane) seeks to serve and support veterans – former and retired members of the UK armed forces, police, fire services, Merchant Navy or other emergency services and their families.

The charity, which works in partnership with Support in Mind Scotland, holds a Veterans Community Cafe in the Stafford Centre, Broughton Street, every Wednesday from 6 to 9pm. All veterans and their families are welcome for hot drinks, hot food and a chat, as well as Tai Chi and meditation if you want. Doors open 5,30, food ready from 6.15.

Sadaya also runs retreats and working retreats. The charity's work is part-funded through the Scottish Veterans Fund (Scottish Government and Standard Life).
