Support in Mind Scotland are leaders in the sector for Rural Mental Health in Scotland.

The National Rural Mental Health Forum, which was set up and is run by Support in Mind Scotland, has grown to more than 90 membership organisations from the public, private and third sectors across Scotland. Visit the Forum's website here.

Activity includes researching, in collaboration with various research institutes, the rural dynamic of experiencing poor mental health, informing Government policy to ensure that the rural and mental health dimensions are taken into account of.

The Forum also promotes mental health training in organisations and raises awareness of mental health through members’ events and publications.

In 2019 we launched our Highlands and Islands Connections project, following on from the success of our Well Connected Communities Report in 2018.
